Before you begin

An owner must maintain the settings. Use your organization’s approved privacy information.

Step by step#

  1. Open Settings → Privacy

Enter the legal company name, full address and privacy-contact email for the organization responsible for the candidate process.

  2. Complete both language versions

Fill in the legal basis and full candidate privacy notice in English and German. The settings require both; the chosen language does not determine which law applies.

  3. Explain the actual process

The notice should cover recipients, transfers, retention, rights and the human alternative. Match recording choices and storage periods to the configured process.

  4. Review the candidate disclosure

Check the information candidates see before upload and interview. When the notice changes, save the revised information rather than relying on an old copied notice.

A visible, specific disclosure#

Candidates can read the employer’s information before deciding whether to proceed. Consent to an interview, optional recordings and talent-pool reuse are distinct choices in the applicable flow.

The candidate cannot continue#

Check whether required employer information is incomplete or has changed. Correct the configuration; never instruct a candidate to accept an inaccurate disclosure. The handbook describes product controls and does not replace your organization’s privacy review.
