Step by step#
Read the session status
Open Interviews or the candidate’s interview. Preparing, ready, invited, in progress and processing describe different points in the session; completed means a result was produced.
Check delivery and validity
If the candidate never started, confirm the recipient, delivery method and invitation expiry. A copied link still needs to be sent by you. Use the available invitation action when a fresh invitation is needed.
Respect an active session
For a temporary connection interruption, let the candidate resume through their invitation where the flow permits it. Submitted answers are preserved; an unsent draft or recording should not be assumed uploaded.
Handle failure or a human request
Review the visible error and any partial evidence. Arrange a human alternative when requested. For a staffing product defect, record a quality case and use the controlled repeat process.
One understandable interview history#
A report still processing is not an empty completed report. An incomplete interview may contain useful answers and visible gaps; do not silently turn those gaps into negative assessments.
The candidate has the wrong link#
Revoke an invitation using the available workspace action when access should stop. Check the session’s current state before issuing another invitation. Contact support with the error and approximate time, without forwarding the private invitation token.
