Who can do what
Use roles and job assignments to keep access appropriate.
Before you begin
Your current workspace role. Access is enforced by the application, not by the visibility of a handbook example.

Hiring-manager access is job-specific#
Owners assign jobs in Team settings. A manager should not need access to unrelated candidates to review one role. Shared internal links still require the recipient’s own permission.
A button is absent or disabled#
Check the current role, assignment and record state. A disabled action may also indicate unsaved edits, missing setup or a blocked revision. Ask the owner to correct access rather than borrowing another person’s session.
The right access for the task#
The handbook’s synthetic exercises intentionally let you learn actions without granting any real workspace permission.
