Step by step#

  1. Open Jobs and create a role

Enter the role’s title and description. Include the actual work, location, relevant experience and working conditions; avoid criteria that do not belong in a hiring decision.

  2. Review the resulting profile

Check the role summary, requirements, priorities, weights and evaluation rubrics. Generated content needs your confirmation.

  3. Choose the interview configuration

Select the applicable interview mode and answer budget, then confirm the core questions. Keep questions focused on evidence for this job.

  4. Confirm before intake

Save the reviewed profile and open the job’s applicants or interview setup. Use an active role for recruitment; close a job when you stop accepting applicants.

A versioned basis for comparison#

An interview uses a snapshot of the requirements. Editing the job later prepares a new version for future interviews; it does not rewrite what a candidate was originally asked.

The profile is too broad#

Replace vague labels such as “excellent communicator” with a concrete requirement and a rubric describing observable evidence. Do not use a high weight to compensate for an unclear criterion.
