Before you begin

An invitation or interview from the recruiting organization.

Step by step#

  1. Decline a topic if needed

In the staffing text route, Decline these questions declines the current round, which may contain two related facts. A declined topic should not be asked repeatedly.

  2. End the interview to stop

Use End interview to stop the session or withdraw from the conversation. A pause is temporary; ending has a different purpose.

  3. Request the human alternative

Use Request a human interview where shown. If that request cannot be sent, contact the recruiter using the details in the invitation or employer notice.

  4. Follow the recruiter’s next step

A request is not itself a booked appointment. Wait for the recruiting team’s response or the separate booking link.

Your preference is visible#

In staffing, refusal is distinct from missing information and a technical failure. A session with no substantive answers may remain documented without producing a usable report.

You also want data removed#

Stopping the interview does not automatically mean all previously submitted data is deleted. Contact the employer’s privacy contact about the separate data request.
