Know what each status describes
Job, application, interview and submission states answer different questions.
Before you begin
Check the kind of record before interpreting its status.
On this page
Job and application#
| Record | States and meaning |
|---|---|
| Job | Draft, active or closed: whether the role is prepared and recruiting |
| Application | Applied; interview invited, scheduled or completed; human review; next round; offer; hired; rejected; talent pool |
| Decision | The application stage records the human hiring process; it is not a report score |
Interview lifecycle#
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Preparing / ready | The interview is being prepared or is ready for invitation |
| Invited | An invitation has been prepared; verify the selected delivery method |
| In progress | The candidate’s session has started |
| Processing | The submitted session is being processed |
| Completed | Processing produced a result; a human still reviews it |
| Incomplete / failed | The session needs attention; inspect saved evidence and visible errors |
| Human requested | The candidate requested a human alternative |
Staffing submission#
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Review required | The current presentation needs recruiter review |
| Approved | This saved revision was approved; it can be exported when there are no unsaved changes |
| Blocked | A product issue prevents use of the affected revision |
| Counted / not counted | Whether a usable report unit has been recorded; separate from suitability |
Do not infer one state from another#
Completed does not mean hired. Approved does not mean suitable. A candidate who declined the shift may have an accurate, usable submission and still not proceed for that assignment.
